2019’s Mustard Belt Victories
After a record-breaking performance at last year’s Hot Dog Eating Contest Joey Chestnut felt the heat from competitors Geoffrey Esper and dark horse Darren Breeden in the 2019 contest, enough to fuel his own fire. Defending his title once again, Joey takes the victory with 71 hot dogs. On the women’s side, Miki Sudo stands in a class of her own. The six-time Mustard Belt winner is unbeatable, eating 31 hot dogs! Congratulations to all our 2019 contestants!

Joey did what he does best: eat! With 71 hot dogs and buns, he won his 12th Mustard Belt. A true legend. Enjoy the glory of yet another Mustard Belt, Joey!
Fun fact: The former construction manager turned pro eater has made a career out of bulldozing the competition. From hot dogs, to apple pie, to burritos, he holds 40 eating records! The only thing he won’t touch? Kale.
It was another great performance from Miki! She continues to set Coney Island records as the only woman to be a six-peat champion. Raise your franks to our reigning champion, Miki!
